Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Webetter (the "Service"), operated by IGEARS TECHNOLOGY LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") at webetter.co. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Webetter is an AI-assisted website builder. You describe a business and our system assembles, edits, and hosts a website from a fixed library of section blocks. The Service also offers optional features such as connecting a custom domain you already own, payment integration, and image generation. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract.
- One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account to obtain additional free credits.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Credits, billing & refunds
Most AI and add-on actions on the Service are paid for with credits. New accounts receive 50 free credits. You can purchase additional credit packs at any time from the Credits & billing page. Credits are consumed as follows:

A full breakdown of how each action is counted is shown on the Credits & billing page. Key billing terms:
- Failed AI operations are refunded. If an AI build or edit errors out, the credits charged for it are automatically returned to your balance.
- Credits are a prepaid license to use the Service and have no cash value. Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and unused credits do not expire while your account is active.
- You remain responsible for purchasing, renewing, and retaining ownership of your domain through your registrar. Connecting it to the Service does not transfer ownership or registrar responsibility to us.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- We may change credit prices and the credit cost of any action. Changes apply to purchases and actions made after the change takes effect.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, host, or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, or fraudulent;
- contains malware, phishing, or facilitates spam or unsolicited messaging;
- is sexually exploitative of minors, or promotes violence, harassment, or hate;
- infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; or
- attempts to probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service, its rate limits, or its security.
You are solely responsible for the content you generate, edit, and publish, and for ensuring it complies with all applicable laws. We may suspend or remove sites and accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the business information and content you provide. You grant us a license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. As between you and us, you own the website output generated for your account, subject to any third-party rights in stock images, fonts, and similar assets, which remain governed by their respective licenses. We own the Service itself, including its software, templates, and section library.
6. AI-generated content
Website copy, layouts, and images may be produced by automated models. AI output can be inaccurate, generic, or unintentionally similar to other content. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before publishing it, including factual claims, pricing, and legal or regulatory statements.
7. Domains, payments & third-party services
The Service can connect a domain you already own and integrates third-party providers for payment processing and stock or AI images. Domain registration and renewal remain with your registrar. Your use of third-party features may be subject to the providers' own terms and pricing. We are not responsible for the availability or acts of third-party providers.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IGEARS TECHNOLOGY LIMITED will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and published sites may be taken offline.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or protections under applicable law.
